TELVERGENCE — Terms of Service, Billing & Policies
Last updated: 2026 · Operated by TELVERGENCE (Integrated Communication Technologies)
⚠️ This is a working template provided for setup. Have a licensed attorney review and finalize it for your jurisdiction before relying on it — telecom/VoIP service carries specific regulatory obligations.
1. The service
TELVERGENCE provides a subscription telecommunications service: branded, E911-capable virtual phone numbers ("Smart DIDs") that forward inbound calls to a phone number you designate (typically your existing mobile). Service is delivered online and activated electronically.
2. Free trial & how billing works
- 30-day free trial. You activate with no charge today. A valid payment method is required and securely stored by our payment processor (Stripe) to hold your activation.
- Auto-conversion. If you do not cancel before the 30-day trial ends, your subscription automatically begins and your payment method is charged.
- Price. $22.95 per line, per month, billed monthly in advance (prepaid). You may activate up to 10 lines per account (maximum $229.50/month for 10 lines).
- Recurring billing. The subscription renews automatically each month until cancelled. Adding or removing lines adjusts your monthly charge accordingly.
- "Unlimited" calls & connects are for normal, individual, lawful use and are subject to the Acceptable Use terms below.
3. Cancellation
- You may cancel at any time — during the trial to avoid any charge, or later to stop future renewals.
- To cancel, contact us at the email or phone below (or use any self-service cancellation we provide). Cancellation stops future billing; service continues through the end of the current paid period.
4. Refunds
- The 30-day free trial is your risk-free evaluation window — cancel any time during it and you are charged nothing.
- Monthly subscription charges are generally non-refundable for the current period once billed, except where required by law. Contact us promptly with any billing concern and we will work with you in good faith.
5. Important 911 / E911 notice — please read
VoIP and call-forwarding 911 service works differently from traditional phone service. Emergency calling may be limited or unavailable, including: during internet/power outages, if forwarding is misconfigured, if your registered service address is not current, or if the device receiving forwarded calls is out of coverage.
You must keep your registered service address accurate so that emergency responders can be dispatched to the correct location (Kari's Law / RAY BAUM'S Act dispatchable-location requirements). Update it whenever your location changes.
Always keep an alternative means of contacting 911 (such as a traditional landline or a mobile phone) available. By using the service you acknowledge these 911 limitations.
6. Acceptable use
- No unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive use; no robocalling, spam, or telemarketing that violates the TCPA, TSR, or other applicable laws; no harassment, spoofing for deception, or unauthorized auto-dialing.
- We may suspend or terminate service for violations or for use that materially exceeds normal individual usage patterns.
7. Account identity & privacy
- Your Smart DID serves as your account identifier; an 8-digit PIN secures the account. We do not collect or use Social Security Numbers as identifiers.
- We collect only information needed to provide and bill the service. Payment card data is handled by Stripe; we do not store full card numbers. See our payment processor's terms for card handling.
8. Changes & contact
We may update these terms; material changes will be communicated. Questions, cancellations, or billing issues:
